Purchasing precious metals requires complete confidence in the purity of the alloy and the authenticity of every gram. JETGOLD has established a multi-tiered quality control system that prevents uncertified gold from entering the catalog.
1. Trusted Supply Channels
All new products in our catalog are manufactured by state mints and refineries holding LBMA Good Delivery status (London Bullion Market Association). We source metals either directly from manufacturers or through their authorized wholesale partners and official distributors, who undergo strict compliance audits.
2. Secondary Market Quality Control (Buyback and Resale)
JETGOLD provides two-way liquidity by buying back investment coins and bars from private individuals. Every repurchased metal item is inspected by our in-house appraisers using professional equipment:
- X-ray Fluorescence Analysis (XRF): A high-precision spectrometer determines the exact chemical composition of the alloy down to a hundredth of a percent, in your presence and without damaging or deforming the coin or bar.
- Ultrasonic Flaw Detection: Allows “looking through” the bar and detecting hidden internal cavities or inserts of dense base metals (such as tungsten).
- Hydrostatic Weighing: Measures the exact density of the item using Archimedes’ principle.
3. Condition Assessment and Wear Disclosure
Prior to resale, repurchased metal undergoes a strict physical condition assessment. Information regarding wear is honestly disclosed on the product page and directly affects the price:
- Mint / UNC (New): Flawless collectible condition, scratch-free, sealed in refinery-original CertiCard packaging.
- Excellent / EF: Undamaged coins and bars that nevertheless show natural storage marks or patina, or are delivered in non-original protective capsules. Sold with a smaller margin than the usual dealer margin.
- Recycling (Melting): Items with deep scratches, deformations, or distorted geometry are not accepted for resale. We send them to certified refineries for refining and purification.
